Fudge Cookies

One night I was really craving some cookies but couldn’t find the proper ingredients to make them. So, I walked into my pantry and found multiple boxes of cake mix and one was the Duncan Hines Devils Food Cake Mix! So I thought to myself “hmmmmmm what if I make these into cookies?”. So I went online and found different ways to transform cake mixes into cookies.

1 package of Devils Food Cake Mix (Any brand but I used Duncan Hines)

2 large eggs

1/2 cup vegetable oil

3/4 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Baking Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease the pans that you are going to use
  2.  Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and use a mixer on medium speed to combine all ingredients
  3. Shape the dough into balls, and place around 2” apart on the trays
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes and place on a cooling rack when finished (Cookies will rise in the oven but once taken out will sink back to a regular cookie shape)
  5. Serve warm for the best gooey, soft, cookie experience or wait until cool (Cookies will stay soft for a week to come)
  6. Enjoy!
