On a rainy Friday a few days back, my friend and I were hungry, craving Mexican food, and ready to leave the house. So we set out to Pedro’s! My friend had previously recommended it but I never had the chance to actually try it. Hidden between the Santa Clara Marriott, surrounding hotels, and Oracle, you’ll find a beautiful mansion-looking building which is actually the restaurant itself! The general aesthetic of both the outside and inside of the restaurant is to die for! It has both a homey and mid-evil times feel to it.
We were first seated somewhat toward the back but the walk to our table was nothing but pleasing. The tables and chairs and the entire ambiance of the restaurant was so breathtakingly beautiful from the inside it was difficult not to smile! After we were seated one of the servers came to our table with a basket of chips and salsa. There was also a guacamole truck rolling around the restaurant serving fresh, handmade guacamole. It was definitely a sight. After being seated and staring at the beautiful scenery that was the inside of the Pedro’s, we began to order.
We ordered the Fajita Ensalada. Which is Grilled marinated chicken, onions and bell peppers topped with shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, crema, crispy corn tortilla strips and guacamole. We ordered the steak version of the fajita as well. All the meat was served on a hot skillet making the meat, onions, and bell peppers blend flavors beautifully. The tortillas were also served warm which made everything come together nicely. Out of both flavors of fajitas, although delicious, my favorite would have to be the steak. It was cooked to a gorgeous medium well (just how I like it) and was seasoned beautifully. Not only was the food delicious, the servers were friendly, the food is decently priced, and the inside is gorgeous to look at! Would definitely recommend stopping by Pedro’s next time you’re looking for a new place to try for dinner! Delicious, Delicious, Delicious!
