Who doesn’t love crepes for breakfast? Especially if they’re smothered in Nutella and topped with strawberries? K’s Crepes will change your crepe experience! K’s Crepes is family owned, homemade, and delicious! Their menu ranges from crepes to breakfast sandwiches to eggs and omelets. But they are most famous for their sports team named crepes! All of their savory crepes are handmade and made on Organic Buckwheat which makes them gluten free as well! Their sweet crepes or made on Organic Whole wheat but you can order the gluten free crepe to replace it and it will still taste just as good!
All of their savory crepes are named after famous international club soccer teams such as Barcelona and Real Madrid while their sweet crepes are named after American soccer teams such as LA Galaxy and the San Jose Earthquakes. I like to start off with a savory crepe so I usually order the Barcelona which consists of: chicken, cheddar cheese, grilled bell peppers, and vinaigrette and a side salad. It consists of onions as well but I tend to order it without the onions. It’s delicious, fresh, cheesy, and delicious! The side salad is also topped off with their homemade vinaigrette which adds a refreshing taste to the salad that pairs greatly with the crepe.
After I’ve devoured the Barcelona and still feel like I have enough space to handle dessert, I order the Houston Dynamo! The Houston Dynamo is the sweet crepe topped off with strawberries, banana, Nutella, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The perfect combination for any crepe lover. It’s delicious, warm, and the ice cream will slowly melt on top to combine everything together.
The restaurant itself feels very homey when you walk in and the crepe aroma will immediately make you close your eyes and have you think about every good thing in your life. It’s a little bit pricey if you’re not willing to pay around $10 for each crepe, but worth it nonetheless.
